The O’Brien Group started with a simple goal:
to build spaces people are proud to live in — without the stress that usually comes with it.
What began as a small, hands-on operation under House Calls in 1994 quickly grew through word of mouth, trust, and consistently delivering quality work. After years of building relationships and refining the process, the company officially became The O’Brien Group Inc. in 2006.
Since then, under the leadership of Shannon O’Brien, the company has grown into a full-service general contractor serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area — with a strong presence in East Dallas and the Park Cities. Shannon’s son Logan came up in the business, working alongside the team for years before going full time after Texas Tech in 2022. He’s a natural with his hands and sharper still with his eye, the kind of carpenter who measures success in the details no one else thinks to check.
Today, The O’Brien Group works across a wide range of projects — from kitchens and bathrooms to full home renovations, additions, outdoor living spaces, and commercial tenant finish-outs. But the core philosophy hasn’t changed: Do the job right. Communicate clearly. Deliver what you promise.
